Many people nowadays are into the rustic lifestyle and therefore decorate their home in a corresponding style. In these homes you will often see a theme like that in a hunting lodge with stuffed trophy mounts, tons of bear and deer collectibles all over and wooden furniture. The hardwood floors will have rugs on them and family life will be centered around the fireplace. Although a rustic home may appear to be an outdoor person's dream that does not mean that the rustic style is not without modern amenities, such as lighting.
